Here is the potential initial composition of Seattle Marinrs after re -signing Jorge Polanko – Sports Illustrated

Seattle Marinrs returned veteran infiltral Jorge Polanko this week to a one -year deal worth $ 7.75 million.

With the end of this move (in anticipation of physical), M is essentially shopping out of the season.

As a result, according to Adam Jude of The Seattle Times, here’s how the composition may seem to be heading for the 2025 season.

With Polanco again in the mix, here’s how the Mariners composition could look for the March 27, against Athletics:

1. Victor Robles, RF
2. Julio Rodriguez, see.
3. Cal Raleigh, C
4. Randy Arzarena, LF
5. Luke Rally, 1b
6. Jorge Polanko, 3B
7. Donovan Solano, DH
8. JP Crawford, SS
9. Dylan Moore, 2B

There are a few things here now:

1) All this depends on health. Unfortunately, injuries happen and the team will have to be ready to find answers in spring training if someone goes down.

2) This also depends on a match. The Marinians seem to be sure they are using the benefits of the platoon in some places this year. Solano could play the first base against the left -handed, with Mitch Garver sliding into the designated place of attack. Garver can serve as a spare hunter, with Raleigh also playing DH. Ryan Bliss or Austin Sheton can also see time depending on who’s on the mound. Tyler Loclera figures to get the opportunity somewhere.

3) This ignores the Cole Young factor. All reports appear to show that Young, one of the best prospects for the team, will start the year at Triple, but there is still a chance that it will dominate in the spring and win a second base.

4) It would be remarkable to see Robles on the point of lead throughout the year. He distinguished himself in this role in 2024, but this is the place of JP Crawford traditionally when it is healthy.

The Marins have reported spring training for less than two weeks. The day of opening is March 27.
