When you first joined the university, you are brought into the kingdom of Broad Street, the guild and various disco-eesty nights with cheap tickets through Fatsoma. When I was more fresh, I couldn’t understand why I was not enjoying my nights. I went to all of them, as most students do, but in the end I felt alienated.

I was scared the same music week during the week that leads you through a night that is not inferior until one of your roommates repeats something that Jäger smells and you will leave with a sick bag in your hand from medical.

The nights of the guild and the wide street are not my thing. And that’s perfectly good. Even if you didn’t have my experience, it’s still worth the branch. I found these enthusiastic events and teams for safe shelter from regular music clubs that you can get excited about.

Calm International

Starting strongly!

For the first time, I discovered peace in 2022 and was immediately one of my favorite enthusiasts in Broom. Jyoty Singh .

Posterium Art from Sprl

You may have seen a few cool events in the UOB library toilets before Christmas. These are you!

Created by a student at the University of Birmingham, Joe Dixon, Redhead Records revives Raev’s scene in Birmingham in a unique way, using intimate local places for the best atmosphere with a quality sound system.

This team boasts the crazy composition of the best local DJs, including your fellow talented students. Expect dance music for every taste with a house, techno, garage, vacations and jungle.

His next event is on February 14 for a special Valentine’s Day at PST in Digbeth. You can win tickets for this event here.

Cellar

The cellar amount has been an integral part of Birmingham’s underground rave scene for almost 10 years. Holded in the yard and basement of Rainbow Pub, both spaces are full of a crowd that always carries the most energy.
