Harrison Butker breaks why Jake Moody on 49s has Yips – Sports Illustrated

New Orleans – 2024 began a hot start for San Francisco 49rs Jake Moody.

It seemed to be consistent and reliable at last. It’s all over when he sprains his ankle in the first game against the Cardinals in Arizona. Moody returned to his great ways. He had zero confidence in him that made any kick, including the chip fired.

In the end, his omissions would thwart Dibo Samuel to the extent that led to a confrontation against the buffalo in Tampa Bay. Even Kyle Shanahan began to become impatient and annoyed by Moody. It’s wild to see a kick that was highlighted from college to the extreme.

On the open night of Super Bowl, I asked Kansas City Chity Chief Harrison Butker about down to find out why and how Moody has YIPS.

“So much kicking is the psychic aspect of this,” Butker said. “If you are missing kicks, you should realize or have to decide it’s a problem with the technique? It’s my mental approach? Maybe both is? You want to change too much. That you adapt and change, change or mental approach, or your physical approach, which makes many kicks or great or not in the league.

Butker hits the nail on the head. Moody’s problems never look like technical. He always seemed like a mental problem. He never seems confident when he goes to kick. Even when he does it, he never looks happy.

He seems to be shocked to have entered. I think the part of Butker’s answer for too much care is where he is Moody. He is a meal and there is nothing that the team can tell him to get him out of him.

Changing nature can be best for Moody. There is too much bad energy and experiences for it with 49ers. It may be the way for him to be released mentally. Otherwise, there is no hope or confidence in it to conquer yips.

“I think the difference between the best in the NFL ever done, for boys who have not even reached NFL, many times this is not a physical difference, this is just their mental approach and how they handle the gaps and the type of These disintegles because we will all have them.
