It’s Halloween in the Capital Region!
As All Saints Eve approaches, parents should be aware of trick-or-treating hours in the various parishes that make up the metropolitan region. A list of these hours is available below:
Ascension, East Baton Rouge, Iberville and St. Mary Parishes
– For the entire parish: from 6 to 8 p.m
Assumption Parish
– For the whole parish: from 17:30 to 20:00
Parish of Tangipahoa
– City of Amite: from 17:00 to 19:00
– Tangipahoa Rural Parish: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
– Kentwood from 17:00 to 19:00
Parish of Livingston
– City of Walker: 6 to 8 p.m
– Non-corporate areas: from 18:00 to 20:00
– City of Albany: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
Pointe Coupee Parish
– New roads: from 17:30 to 19:30
– Rural areas: from 17:30 to 19:30
– Livonia: from 18:00 to 19:30
– Fordoche: from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m
West Baton Rouge Parish
– Non-corporate areas: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m
– Brusly: from 17:30 to 19:30
– Addis: from 17:30 to 19:30
West Feliciana Parish
– St. Francisville: 5:30pm to 7:30pm (restricted to children 12 and under; trick-or-treaters should also call homes where lights are on; Royal St will be closed to vehicles.)

Thursday, October 31
– Harleaux Halloween from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the crosswalk between WW Harleaux and TT Harris, Marshall Street to Fleniken Lane in Plaquemine
– Trunk or Treat at Tangipahoa Village from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, contact Alice Briggs at (985) 229-8300
– Trick-or-Treat Drive Thru with a costume contest! 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galvez-Lake Volunteer Fire Department, 1628 Joe Sevario Road, Prairieville
– Livingston Parish Library Trunk or Treat from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Main Branch Parking Lot (20390 Iowa Street.)
– Trunk or treatment in the Catholic Church of St. Augustine at New Roads from 5pm to 7pm
– Boo and the Badge from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Wag Center in Donaldsonville.
– luggage party or treat from 18:00 to 20:00 at St. Gabriel (1400 Dr. Gordon Simon LeBlanc)
– Truck or Treat and Boo on the Bowie from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the White Castle Community Center (32725 Bowie St.; to reserve a table, call 225-545-3012; to reserve a seat for a car, call 225-716-2283.)
– Merchant Trail from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in downtown Kentwood (start at any business and follow the trail: Market Max, Kentwood Fire Department, This and That Pawn Shop, Schilling’s Pharmacy & Gifts, 4M Vendors Mall & Coffee Bar, Connie’s Jewelry & Gifts, The Cafe, Kentwood Library, 51 Nutrition, Wine On Main, Wagon Wheel Boutique, Hart’s Bar- BQ, Kentwood Ace Hardware, The Snow Shack, The Good Times Daiquiris, Noah’s Ark Daycare, Allen Bros Feed, Glenda’s Flowers & Gifts, The Total Look, Charlie’s Tire Shop, Popeyes, Kentwood Family Pharmacy, 360 Therapy, Pizza Shack in Kentwood, La, Beck’s Fried Chicken, Sonic Drive-In, Kentwood Family Practice Clinic, Dollar General and Best Dog Training (Located across from Dollar General.)
