More and more people are becoming small farmers, joining a growing group that operates the land and provide fresh food and unique cultures locally.

But turning into a small farm is not easy and finding advice can be discouraging; This is true even for major growing operations.

In the Treasure Valley, the harvest conference and the outbreak farm provides seminars for new and experienced farmers, and this year the seminar is appointed Friday, February 7th.

The director of the soil and water protection region Jessica Harold has joined Idaho to tell us more about the harvest and the hearth.
