Petition collectors have collected enough signatures to launch the ballot initiative in 2026, which will ask voters to approve the development of the axon’s headquarters in North Scotsdale.

But the company may not stick long enough to pass the vote.

In a statement by Axon spokesman, the company said it was considering all options regarding the referendum and relocation. The CEO of Taser Company, Rick Smith, said the wait until the next November to get a developmental resolution was not an option.

In November, the Scottsdale Municipal Council approved a development for the construction of a new corporate campus, which included about 1900 apartments and apartments.

Opponents are concerned about the density of the home and the traffic that will come from the proposal.

Scottsdale city official Ben Lane confirmed the taxpayer group against terrible releases for zoning apartments filed over 19,000 signatures.

Akson says the project’s abandonment decision is due to an initiative for a vote referendum. Last month, the Union’s political organization called Worker Power said it helped to collect enough signatures to allow voters to decide whether they wanted to veto development.
