The party said on Tuesday that it would support the budget after providing a regional test for 2 pounds of bus rates and expanding free school eating students during the first three years of high school, which receive the payment of the Scottish child.
As a result of negotiations, said the party, funding for environmental and nature will grow to 4.9 billion British pounds, while the young islanders will receive a free ferry trip.
Finance spokesman Ross Greer said: “The Scottish green have put climate action, dealing with childhood poverty, more expensive buses and ferries and funding for schools at the heart of our budget negotiations. We have made progress on all these fronts, so our MSP will vote for the budget.
“No young man should sit at school hungry.
“As a result of our work, thousands of more students in S1 to S3 will already receive a free school. This will be based on the success of expanding free school meals in elementary schools, a policy pursued by Scottish green several years ago.
“Our green MSP has also provided a year -round regional test, whereby bus tariffs will be limited to £ 2 because we know that the price of public transport must be reduced.
“This is also based on the success of free bus trips for young people, another Scottish green policy that we made reality.
“With climate chaos all around us, we worked to provide record funding to restore nature and our environment.
“These green projects create well -paid jobs in communities across the country, especially in rural areas.”
The announcement earlier this month by Scottish labor leader Anas Sarvar that his MSP will refrain from the budget, but did not assure the plans – declared in December – will pass, but the message from the Greens added to the government’s position.

Scottish lib dems is expected to announce its budget position on Tuesday.
