Souty Burlington, VT. (Wcax) – Great Vermont Coat Drive, collecting coats for the needy, ends on Friday.
WCAX has partnered with Vermont’s Federal Credit Union to collect new and gently used jackets for the needy.
This year, the Credit Union says they have collected more than 1000 coats. And from 15 to 20 bags are still waiting to be taken at Kennedy Drive.
The coats are distributed by the Department of Children and Families and Lund throughout the aspiration and they will continue to be distributed until everyone goes away.
