Grandma Baba Rouge, arrested for abuse of a live Facebook – News Talk 96.5 KPEL

A woman from Baton Rouge was arrested after a disturbing video showed that she was abusing her 5-year-old grandson.

Batton Rouge police officers arrived at the West Grant Street residence at 3 pm on Tuesday, February 4, after a complaint by a concerned citizen for being abused. The concerned citizen told the police that she saw the child abused during a live video on Facebook.

Authorities have watched many videos in which a woman has repeatedly hit a child. In the videos, Pauline Tainet slaps his grandson in the face.

Due to the nature of the incident, she was accused of cruelness to minors.

Knighen is taken in guard that afternoon and is currently being held at the parish prison in East Baton Rouge.

Police have not released more details about the child’s condition or whether additional fees can be raised. The investigation remains continued.
