Governor Ron Roanis raised his proposal for the state budget on Monday, worth over $ 115 billion for the upcoming fiscal year.

What is in the proposed budget of the governor?

By the numbers:

The budget of the governor, which he calls a “focus on fiscal liability”, is a little smaller than the state budget for the current fiscal year.

Money in state reserves

Desantis advertised Florida’s “healthy reserves” that would accept $ 14.6 billion if his 2025-26 budget moves forward.

These reserves will include $ 4.2 billion in total revenue and $ 1 billion in the state’s readiness and response to the state.

“We will not spend more than before the year,” Talahasi’s press conference said at a press conference.

The governor’s proposed budget will also provide $ 830 million to assist in the payment of government debt, including all unpaid bonds for such conservation projects as Florida Forever and restoration of Everglades.
