Deputy City Lawyer at Renault has been appointed to the Nevada Game Control Board, Governor Joe Lombardo said on Wednesday.
Chandie Studell, who in 2015 joined the Civil Division of the Prosecutor’s Office of the city Concerning the game applications for licenses for consideration by the Nevada Games Commission.
The Governor’s service did not reveal the SENDALL salary, but the Watkins Financial Disclosure form lists an annual salary of $ 196,790.
The Supervisory Board occurs on a monthly basis, most in Las Vegas, but occasionally in Carson City.
“With its unique origin in the field of law and observance, Chandi will bring a new insight and critical perspective on board,” Lombardo says in an email statement. “I look forward to her leadership and contribution to the supervision of games in our country.”
Sendall will start its four -year term this week. Watkins announced at a meeting of the Supervisory Board on January 15 that he would not seek reassignment after serving four years on board, two months as a temporary chairman.

Since 2015, Sendall has served as a Deputy City Lawyer of the city of Renault, practicing in the Civil Division. Prior to working at Renault’s office, Sendall worked in civil and commercial court disputes, serving as an internal trainee for Renault -based Caesars Entertainment Inc. and serves as retired justice James Hardsty in the Supreme Court in Nevada. While attending William S. Boyd’s law at UnlV, Sendall serves as editor -in -chief of the Journal Journal Gaming Law. Prior to her legal career, she served several years as an internal auditor of Caesars Entertainment.
According to the LinkedIn Page of Sendall, she was born in California, but moved to Nevada at a young age. He visits the University of Nevada, Renault for a bachelor’s and postgraduate economics.
She was also a member of the Nevada Wolf Pack women’s golf team. While in postgraduate, she served as a student ambassador, a graduate assistant in the Economics Division and a volunteer mentor of big sisters from North Nevada.
After completing her postgraduate training, she began her financial career in Caesari. While working as an internal auditor, she enrolled in the part -time program at the Boyd School in Las Vegas. At the Faculty of Law, she is interior for the Caesars Corporate Legal Department, working as a summer associate at Travelers Insurance and runs the Journal Journal for UnlV games.
“My position with the internal legal department of the Caesar has given me the opportunity to learn a lot about the legal problems that surround the main casino corporation,” she said in LinkedIn. “While working at Travelers Insurance, I had the opportunity to prepare numerous legal requests, opening requests and to attend mediation and deposits.”
Return to Renault
After graduating from a law school in 2012, she moved back to North Nevada and began a clerk with Hardesty. During her clerk, she was exposed to various areas of the law and was charged with the study and preparation of memorandums about the bench to support judges in resolving cases of first impression and issues of significant importance of public policy before the court.
She then spent a year at the Lionel Sawyer and Collins Department of Law Disputes, where she represented clients on civil and commercial disputes. In 2015, she moved to McDonald Carano Wilson LLP and continued the practice of civil litigation before moving the same year to the prosecutor’s office of the city of Renault.
Sendall will join two other legal experts in the Control Board, Chairman Kirk Hendrick, who earlier this week announced his plans to resign from the board at the end of the legislative session in 2025 and retired the Las Vegas Municipal Court judge Assad.
