RACINE, Wis. – Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Gov. Tim Waltz held a campaign rally in Racine on Tuesday, October 22.
The Minnesota governor flew with his daughter Hope to Milwaukee, where Mayors Cavalier Johnson, Dan Devine, Dennis McBride and County Chair Marcelia Nicholson were there to greet him.
The motorcade then headed to Racine Memorial Hall, where Walls was introduced by a cancer survivor who spoke about the role of the Affordable Care Act in helping her pay medical bills.

Waltz addressed supporters for just over 20 minutes, insisting over and over that Democrats are now the party of freedom.
“Communities do better when elected officials do what they say they’re going to do,” Waltz said. “And as for who we love or families we want, mind your own damn business.”
The rally came just hours after he spoke in Madison with former President Barack Obama. Obama and Waltz scheduled an early voting rally in the Democratic bastion of Madison.
Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned at Brookfield’s Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in the Republican stronghold of Waukesha County on Monday night.

Walz is on his way to rallies in Kentucky and North Carolina on Wednesday.
