Liz-romero_webSouth Nevada’s reputation (Goodwill®) proudly announces Liz Romero’s arrival as chief mission official. In this role, Romero will monitor the wide range of career services of the Southern Nevadan organization who want to receive local employment and mobility.

Romero comes to Las Vegas from Goodwill Industries from South Piedmont (GISP). Through her management, her team expanded their information to the unused cities of North and South Carolina in their 18-circular service area. Growth, managed by improved service provision and extended training offers, necessitated the relocation of a career and training center to a new dual -square -foot facility. Romero began his trip with Goodwill in 2014 at the Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina (NWNC) in Asheville after working in the field of mental health and foster care system, where she had a significant impact on countless lives.

Liz won MBA with a concentration in social entrepreneurship from Lenoir Rhyne University, as well as BAS on psychology and art therapy from Mars Hill. She is a certified career coach and has a non -profit management certificate from Duke University.

“Liz’s ability to extend the scope of our organization is exactly what we need in a region that grows as fast as South Nevada,” said Richard Rick Neil Jr., President and CEO of South Nevada Goodwill. “I am confident under the guidance of Liz Goodwill will successfully serve thousands of people annually through personalized career coaching, job accommodation and accelerated trainings.”

In her spare time, Liz enjoys tourism, practices yoga, reading, going to concerts and traveling.
