Vintage charm and bizarre models have arrived in the middle of the city with the opening of Good Choices Co., an economical store for unique and selected finds.
Good Choices Co. It was the dream of a triphore, with pink floors with bubbles, colored coded clothing and hooks for a bow -shaped bow from its soft opening on February 8th. The store, located on 3115 St. St., has a variety of pieces of brightly colored high heels to Disney Shirts.
The savings store is founded by Haley Miller, a graduate of LSU. Miller ended in 2019 and subsequently began selling spoken pieces through an Instagram account in 2020. After learning that this country Hustle could become a functioning business, it is completely devoted to its passion for vintage items in 2023 S
“I loved to find unique, beautiful things that told history, whether it was an old sweatshirt with someone’s name, written on the label or vintage glassware that raised every party they were on,” Miller said.
Miller works full -time while managing Good Choices Co. Each outfit in the store is manually selected to provide many stylish options for its customers. Miller finds these pieces from different places around Baton Rouge, whether they are from real estate sales or even other sales shops.

“We want to have options for everyone, regardless of their style or size,” Miller said. “So we do our best to exhaust where we can and often.”
Shopping Good Choices Co. feels like hanging out among friends. The lively talk and music fills the air as customers are encouraged to choose the most stylish pieces. Miller herself often occupies a hand to help find the perfect, burned fit for her customers.
Good Choices Co. made pop -up stores in various areas around Baton Rouge in previous years; Miller, however, opened a store in the hope of building a stronger community. She plans to do just that by presenting local creators and creating specific seasonal collections that customers enjoy.
“With the window, we have created a space that we hope to feel more recently as a center of the community, which allows more personal interactions,” Miller said. “He also gave us a chance to refine the shopping experience and show a wider range of items.”
Promoting thoughtful consumption is a major value for Miller and its business, as shown in the philosophy of Good Choices Co. for “cure sustainable fashion”. The business even collaborates with other sustainable and local companies throughout the Baton Rouge.
“Sustainability recognizes the power of our choice and we want to make responsible for the good of both humans and the planet,” Miller said.
One of the current local partners of Good Choices Co. is Deep South Gypsies, a small business specializing in handmade jewelry. The sale of these handmade bracelets and earrings in the Miller store is aligned with its goal of promoting the resistance to Good Choices Co.
Encouraging awareness of the environmental impact of the fast fashion is essential for Miller. She believes that the presence of stylish but still environmental alternatives to fast fashion is crucial to creating a change in today’s world.
“Our choice may seem a little in itself, but collectively we create a pulsating effect that can change the way fashion works,” Miller said.
