The winner, which will be determined by a vote of the technical management of all eight CPL clubs, as well as selected media, will be announced on November 7 in Calgary as part of the CPL Championship festivities.
Irving started all 28 games for Vancouver in his second season with the club. The 31-year-old Eagles captain led all CPL goalkeepers with a league-record 96 saves. And his 3.43 saves per 90 minutes ranked him first among CPL goalkeepers with at least 10 starts.
Irving was also nominated for the award in 2020 and 2022.
Despite missing time due to illness, Gazdov, 21, finished tied for second with seven shutouts. He allowed 0.94 goals per 90 minutes, which ranked him second among goalies with at least 10 starts, and his 72.31 save percentage ranked him third among “goalies with at least 10 starts.”
This is Gazdov’s first Golden Glove nomination.
Vincencini started all 28 games in his debut season for York United FC. The 31-year-old French veteran finished the regular season second among goaltenders with 11 wins and third with six shutouts and 73 saves.
Triston Henry, then with Forge FC, won last year’s award. He also won in 2020.
