PHOENIX (AZ Family) — One of the suspects convicted in a high-profile attack on an East Valley teenager was sentenced Friday.
Tyler Allen Freeman, 18, will spend nearly three years in prison for aggravated assault in connection with an attack in the parking lot of a Gilbert In-N-Out restaurant in December 2022, where he and other teenagers jumped and beat another boy with brass knuckles.
Freeman is also accused of another assault at a party in 2022 at a home near Higley and Riggs in Gilbert.
Police say he used knuckleballs there, too, when he jumped a teenager.
