Georgia Buldogs face what feels like a mandatory game on Tuesday against South Carolina Gamekox.
The Georgia Bulldogs Men’s Basketball Team started hot this season, so much that he won his first ranking in the Top 25 of 2011. Since then, he has been going down. Dawgs have lost four consecutive opponents at the conference and are coming out of their worst performance for the year of the road against Florida. They are now 14-6 for the season and 2-5 in the conference and stand against what feels like a mandatory match against South Carolina.
Gamecocks are not ranked and are 0-7 in the conference game, but they had a series of heartbreaking losses. They lost to Mississippi State after sequels, a loss to Florida with one difference, having led almost the whole game and two losses of three points against Vanderbilt and Obun. So, while on paper it looks like a relaxation in Georgia’s schedule, this cannot be farther from the truth.
Tuesday game will include programs trying to get back to the winning column. The good news for Georgia is that it will be a home for Dawgs and the guest win at this conference has proven to be a difficult task. But they have to play clean and win a victory on Tuesday.
After the match against South Carolina, the Bulldogs will travel to number 4 Alabama, home against LSU, at home against number 14 Mississippi State and then on the road against number 13 against Texas A&M. The Dawgs have remained in the conversation about the NCAA tournament, but these subsequent games will be crucial to staying in this discussion.
