Massage salon will close its doors at least six months after investigating human trafficking, said the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

What we know:

The agency said this was not the first time the business was investigated at the address.

It is unclear whether the business will be allowed to reopen after the six -month closure of emergencies.

The agency did not say whether the business owner would face a taxi.

The legislators in 2023 adopted a law that allows the Ministry of Licensing and Regulatory to order the closure of emergencies if the business is suspected of trafficking in human beings.

The agency said it was the 18th time an emergency order was issued.
