Garland, Texas – Massage salon will close its doors at least six months after investigating human trafficking, said the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

What we know:

Medicinal foot SPA center, located on 565 West Oates Rd. In Garland, it was ordered to close for six months after a visit by the inspectors in December. They cannot open a new place or different business in the same place.

Inspectors said they had found objects that usually show commercial sex services, including underwear, pregnancy tests and an ATM in the lobby. The business was advertised on illegal websites.

The business violated the law by allowing people to live there and an unlicensed employee was found under a massage table after a client left the room, the edition said.

The agency said this was not the first time the business was investigated at the address.

What we don’t know:

It is unclear whether the business will be allowed to reopen after the six -month closure of emergencies.

The agency did not say whether the business owner would face a taxi.

Big look at the elder:

The legislators in 2023 adopted a law that allows the Ministry of Licensing and Regulatory to order the closure of emergencies if the business is suspected of trafficking in human beings.

The agency said it was the 18th time an emergency order was issued.
