Fun activities in northern Texas that do not include drinking – Kera News

Looking for fun things to do in Dallas-Form Worth that do not include drinking? From fascinating museums to exciting sports games to picturesque parks, ideal for outdoor day, there are many exciting ways to enjoy northern Texas, no drinks are required. Here are six unique activities to do in D-FW that do not include alcohol, ideal for a meeting in the evening, or to hang out with friends.

Beyond the board

Become a game in the real life of this exhibition at the Museum of Science and the History of Fort Worth. You can explore and learn about geography, prehistory, flora and fauna, World Oceans and technology while playing a natural -size board game.

Details: Until July 27. On the other side of the board is open during museum hours from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 5:00 pm and Sunday from noon to 5:00 pm at the Fort Worth Museum and History, 1600 Gendy St., Fort Wort. From all over the country it is included in the acceptance of the museum.

Gallery and sculptural garden Valley House

Free Spend hours on tour This hidden gem Founded more than 50 years ago in the distant North Dallas. The collection was created by Donald and Peggy Vogel in 1953, when they bought six acres of land with the intention of separating the space of fine arts. The gallery has won international recognition for its exceptional exhibitions of impressionists, post-impressionists and contemporary art, as well as for its stunning sculpture garden.

Dallas

If you are tired of not knowing how to cook, why not register for one of the many classes of cooking? Each session focuses on teaching you how to prepare food with three dishes and make a delicious cocktail. Some upcoming cooking classes include Bourbon Street, Mediterranean Tour, switching to India and pasta.

Details: The classes happen throughout the week of 1130 Dragon St., Dallas. The classes are $ 125.
