FSU had many prospects on campus a week ago for its first Junior Day event of the year. Another group of talented recruits will be in Tallahassee this weekend, including four-star linebacker TJ White, who announced via his social media that he will be in town.
White has 20 total offers right now from well-known programs like Auburn, Tennessee and Wisconsin. It’s been just over a month since Florida State made an offer to White. So getting the 6-foot-3, 220-pounder on campus this soon is a major plus for the Seminoles.
It was a highly successful sophomore year for White as he compiled 63 tackles, six tackles for loss, a sack, an interception, three pass breakups and a maxpreps forced fumble. During his junior year, he went even higher with 102 tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
The 247Sports composite rankings have White as the No. 263 tight end nationally and the No. 22 tight end. In terms of Mississippi prospects, White is No. 10 on the list.
Florida missed out on a few blue-chip links in the 2025 cycle. They were able to get four-star Ethan Pritchard to sign. Now, with some firm roots planted in the recruitment of white, hopefully another will be on the way.
