FSU Football Dial: The Pursuit of QB Carter Smith can grow after losing TRAMELL JONES – AOL

Florida’s football (1-9, 1-7) is the next defender.

With Senior High School Mandarin Tramel Jones, which breaks down by FSU on Thursday, FSU is likely to focus on another quarter star defender, Carter Smith.

Smith is the second ranked defender in USA Today Florida Top 100 and No. 32 as a whole. Fort Myers -born retired from Michigan last month, letting FSU close in the four -star QB to compensate for Jones loss.

Smith attends Bishop Verot High School, where he was a four -year starter. Last year, he was named Gatorade Flatorde of the Year Footballer of the Year Gatorade Florida 2023-24 after throwing 2,223 passing yards and 29 touchdowns.

The 6-foot 2, 185-pound senior also added 715 fast yards and 19 fast sensors. He has many Lee County records, including 113 common career sensors.

Smith has 21 offers, including the three best weights in Florida: Miami, FSU and UF. FSU was Smith’s third suggestion, which he received on December 7, 2022.

He plans to make his official visit on November 30, when Seminoles face Gators in the final of their season.

Other schools that Smith was considering before choosing Michigan were Florida, Cincinnati, Miami and Pen.

This season, Smith threw himself for 1299 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and four intercepts. It also has 480 fast yards and 12 quick results. Bishop Trew is 7-3.
