Fresh snowfall prompts closure of school, delays in North Nevada – Foxreno.com

Snow at night on Wednesday on Thursday morning caused some school districts to be delayed and closed on the area on February 13th.

The following areas are fully closed:

  • All schools in a county
  • All schools TRUCEE TAHOE
  • Sloping schools
  • Douglas County
  • Carson City

The following schools are on a two -hour delay:

  • All schools of Washoe County, Winter Bus Bus Stations Increasing
  • Center for Development of Children in Children’s Life
  • Camson City in Western Nevada including Center for Development of Children
  • St. John Children’s Center
  • Doral Academy of North Nevada

All places in the Truckee Meadows Community College Community Community (TMCC) are closed by 9:30 am. All classes and services will work remotely before 9:30 hours through canvas, increase or other internet -based tools. Regular personal classes and services will resume after the physical places are open.

After assessing time and road conditions around the University of Nevada, Renault Campus, a decision has been made to delay the beginning of the non -essential campus operations (campus operations refers to any work performed in the main university campus, office, field, field, field work or sponsored events in Renault) by 10 am

Web classes and remote operations will continue on schedule. All personal hours before 10am are canceled.

Redfield’s campus, the construction of A is also delayed and will open at 10am in Nevada, Renault in Wayne L. The Prin Campus of Lake Taho, stopped personal hours and insignificant operations on Thursday.

In addition, governor Joe Lombardo has ordered a 2-hour delay for all state services in the cities of Washoe, Douglas, Storey and Lyon. They are all planned to open at 10am
