The Montage Basketball Team of the Fremont boys prevailed over Montague to win 70-30 WMC-Lakes on Friday night.

The pills poured with 22 points on the nine Wildcats in the first quarter and led 38-19 to half.

The advantage continued for Packers in the third quarter with 17-3 points to push the lead to 55-19.

Powers Red’s Powers led with 14 points, four fights, four assists and three thefts. Mossen Green added 13 points, six rebounds, four thefts and three assists, while Gabe Hill had nine points, five assists and three thefts.

Blake Zerlaut scored seven points. Logan McLain chipped in 10 rebounds and seven blocks.

Fremont (4-11 as a whole, 2-6 WMC-Lakes) will face a Grant at the NayayGo County Showcase on Saturday.

Montague (3-13 as a whole, 1-8 WMC-Lakes) travels to Shelby on Monday.
