Fremont Basketball Votes Mlive Muskegon Athlete of Week – Mlive.com

Fremont, Fremont’s Mi Basketball Team was dominant this season, winning 14 of their 15 games, but a double-digit margin.

Packers recently gained an advantage of two games in the West Michigan Conference Lakes divisions ranking with 56-33 over Ludington, as they seem to capture the Second Law League Championship, as well as back in the titles this March.

A player who has helped to grow the ceiling of Fremont’s potential this winter is the sophomore Taylor Decuer, who joins senior teammate Mia Clemens as one of the most active playmakers in the Muskgon area this season.

During the past week, Dekuiper continued to influence the success of his team as he ended with 24 points, 15 rebounds and five thefts in winning Grant, registered a triple-soul with 18 points, 17 rebounds and 11 thefts to win over Montag and added 27 Points, 17 rebounds, six assists and five thefts to win over Morley Stanwood.

“I believe that Taylor is the most hardworking athlete I have ever trained,” said Fremont Pete Cerfas’s chief coach. “She constantly dives on the free balls floor, breaks the boards for fighting, and is quick to defense the whole game.

“Taylor had a great success in his young career, setting the season record of our theft program as a freshman and defeated him again this year as a sophomore. She led us to a jump as a freshman and again leads us to rebound, all of us in assists and an average of 13 points per game. She is currently in pace to break her career records at a school for points, struggles, steals, assists and wins. However, it is one of the most fascinating people you will ever meet. I have never heard her talk about herself. She is so excited about the success of her teammates. She is a dream of training and I am lucky to have it in my team. ”
