A 12-year-old and three teenage girls have been charged with setting fire to an Oshawa home.
Durham Police say they were called to a townhouse fire near Eddystone Trail and Okanagan Trail, which is in the area of Harmony Road and Olive Avenue, around 5:10 a.m. on Oct. 6.
There were people inside the house when the fire started, but everyone was able to get out safely and no physical injuries were reported.
The fire caused extensive damage to multiple homes, estimated at over $2 million.
The fire was considered suspicious and investigators determined it was intentional.
On Sunday, the Criminal Investigation Department concluded its investigation and arrested four young girls.

A 15-year-old Oshawa female has been charged with arson – disregard for human life, mischief under $5,000 and intimidation by threats of violence.
A 16-year-old Oshawa female has been charged with arson – disregard for human life, mischief under $5,000 and intimidation by threats of violence.
A 15-year-old Oshawa female has been charged with arson – reckless disregard for human life and mischief under $5,000.
All four women were held for a bail hearing.
