Four Weekend Distinctions – Fremont Tribune

Here is a look at the excellent performances in the high school for the weekend.

The Arlington Girls Win a Central Conference Tournament in Nebraska

Britt Nielsen struck three index finger in the sequel to give Arlington his first title at the 2002 conference tournament with a 53-52 victory over Jutan.

The leaders dominated the first three quarters, holding 20-15 half after holding Arlington in only two baskets in the second quarter.

Nielsen took the fourth quarter with his team with 37-29. She scored 10 of her team, leading 18 points in the frame, forcing overtime with her second three indicator of the frame.

The senior also struck the three-leders of Go-Head in overtime.

Emme Tim added 13 points for the Eagles, scoring eight points from the free throw line in the third quarter.

Wagner dominates Norfolk Invitational

Preston Wagner spent a little more three minutes on Saturday on the mat to ask for the 285-pound title at Norfolk Invitational.

The Uniper dropped 22-5 technological fall at 2:18 in the semifinals against Cooper Buckston on Columbus, after which Justin’s parish in Omaha Westside at 1:03 in the match in the first place.

Julissa Guerrero-Pena of Fremont led the “tigers” at Norfolk’s invitation, winning the 235-pound division.

The senior collected three wins, two with installation, including a pin of Natalia’s third period for a long time in the finals.

Sofia Turip (105) and Kaylee BedSole (140) also reached the finals, but finished a runner -up.

Daisy Alonso Gomez (125) secured a final in third place, while Emma-Cler Fritz (115) took the fourth.

Mace, Mcintyre Win in East Mills

Bergan struggle put eight fighters on the podium on Saturday in East Mills Invitational, which led to fourth place in the team ranking.

Josh Mace (165) and Patrick McIntyre (215) came out of their weight classes, unharmed with a championship.

Mace won his final match with a pin from Ian Forsyth from Southwestern Valley. Mcintyre also won his match for the title with a third period pin, downloading Aaron Cordel of Logan Magnolia.

The knights also had a trio of runners -up with Evan Wolf (120), Ricker Vilvok (190) and Connor Sullivan (285), missing their championship match.

Sawyer Prus (144) added fourth place, Jackson Kelong (150) took fifth, and John Husman (126) finished six.
