The former relief of Seattle Marinrs Riners Stanek signed a one -year deal to return to New York Metz on Wednesday morning.

Although Stanek ended the 2024 season with the Meta, this is somewhat surprising resolution, given that we have just heard that he is interested in the Chicago cubes and Atlanta Bravs.
The 33-year-old Stanek began season 2024 with Marinors, signing late in the spring training for injuries to Mat Brach and Gregory Santos. With Seattle, he was up and down, going 6-3 with 4.38 ERA. He hit 44 tests in 39.0 passes. The Marinians traded him within the deadline of the Meta, where he went to the NLC.
He had a 6.06 ERA with New York in the regular season, but distinguished himself in the admiral season, giving up only three runs won in eight passes.
An eight -year -old veteran, Stanek played with the rays of Tampa Bay, Miami Marlins, Houston Astros, Marinrs and Mets. He helped Astros win World Series in 2022. Lifetime, he is 17-17 with 3.65 ERA.
The Mets figure is a very strong list once again this year. Although it seems unlikely to Pete Alonso to return to Queens, they added Juan Soto, Frankie Montas and Aj Minter this season.
Bullpen Mariners will probably understand Andres Munoz, Brach, Santos, Colin Snyder, Trent Thornton and Troy Taylor this season, at least once they are all healthy. Gabe Spier or Thaler Saudo will probably serve as left -handed, and Shintaro Fujinami is an intriguing name for viewing.
