The Alijah Arenas was reclassified from the class from 2026 to 2025 and took three unofficial visits before engaging in USC. He visited Ucla on February 2 and Arizona on November 22 last year. The 6-leaf-5 shooting has played 78 matches for Chatsworth, an average of 31.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.2 thefts and 0.8 blocks.

Last season, Arenas was an average of 33.0 ppg, 8.6 RPG and 2.9 APG in 35 games. This season, he led Chatsworth to a record of 15-7 while leading the team by points, assists, thefts and a free throw rate.

Travis Branham of 247Sports talks about the rank of the arena after his reclassification. Branham pointed out the rarity of the player, who painted the status of five stars in reclassification and praised his set of skills.

“In the 2026 class, we ranked him as five star and even when he reclassification you do not see this often, a child who maintains this five -star status and he has,” Branham said on January 25th.

“What really stands out for him is his size, length and type of body for a position. He is a very advanced, very qualified three -level goal scorer and this should not be a surprise.”

Arenas had offers from other top programs, including Ucla, Arizona, Kentucky and Louisville. He will join Jerry Easter and Alzi Harrington from Eric Musselman’s side next season.
