After cutting the impressive line of .276/.349/.380 in 252 appearances on the plate with Marlins in 2023, Hampson was signed by Royals before the season 2024, but it did not even go near Kansas City. In 231 participations on the plates last year, the 30-year-old cut a disappointing .230/.275/.300 without home tracks and 16 RBI, noting the best career numbers both in the basis of the base and in delay.

Although she certainly didn’t offer much to Royals on the plate, Hampson provided exceptional flexibility for a player. The man of utilities played in each position, but a hunter in the regular season 2024, finishing 52 games in the central field, 28 in the left field, 24 on the second base, 8 on first base, 8 at short braking, 7 in the right field and 2 in third place base, while appearing in 22 games as a pinch, 6 as a pychic runner and even one as a pitcher.

In addition to another chance to be worthy of a place in the specialties, the new deal offers a collection of varieties for Hampson, as Asse Renault pointed out in its announcement for its signing.

Born and raised in Renault, Hampson was a Varsiti player at Renault High School, winning the North Nevada 4A Baseball Championship region in his region both in his junior and senior years.
