Troubled ex-Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was pulled over for speeding on a suspended license with his two children in the back seat, with a warrant already out for his arrest.
The 2018 Super Bowl champion was caught during a traffic stop in Tallahassee on Oct. 10 for going 78 mph in a 55 zone with his two children in the backseat of his KIA SUV, TMZ first reported .
Bradham, 35, admitted to officers that he knew he was driving illegally with a suspended license — and not for the first time, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report obtained by the outlet.
The officer also found that Bradham had an active warrant for possession of a controlled substance in Leon County, the report said.
The 2018 Super Bowl champion was then handcuffed and transported to a local jail, where he was released shortly after, the outlet reported.
Bradham is charged in Wakulla County with one felony count of driving with a suspended or revoked license, court records show
This would not be Bradham’s first brush with the law. The pro was caught with three pounds of weed and guns in his 2021 Corvette and was sentenced to 30 days of probation, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.
Miami-Dade police also arrested him on suspicion of carrying a concealed firearm at an airport — just two months after he was booked on suspicion of aggravated battery/assault from an alleged incident at a Miami hotel, according to the NHL.
The former linebacker was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft and then was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016 for a $7 million contract — helping them win the 2018 Super Bowl against the Nova Scotia Patriots England.
Bradham has totaled 619 tackles in 116 career games.
