Ford, who visits Piking yesterday, also promised in Durham, also promised that the re -elected PC government would make a reduction in its gas tax constantly, as well as introduce legislation on the ban on traffic and highways in Ontario. He was joined by Pikin Mayor Kevin Ache, Clarmington Mayor Adrian Foster and Ovas Mayor Dan Carter, who approved Ford.

“As President Trump continues to threaten the tariffs that would increase the cost of hardworking families, it was never more important to protect people’s portfolios by returning more money in their pockets,” said Doug Ford. “Our computer team will save thousands of dollars every year, pounding a fees on the 407 highway to the east each year and make our reduction in gas tax on the Gaza constant. We will protect Ontario drivers by banning traffic fees, just as we banned road fees. “

In response to the US tariff threats, Ontario’s PC will reduce state fees and taxes on drivers to reduce costs, according to Ford. The plan includes:

  • Excluding fees from the 407 highway to the east moving between Brock Road in Pickering and Highway 115 in Clarington, saving the Daily Commuters $ 7,200 each year.
  • Permanent reduction of the provincial gas tax by 5.7 cents per liter and a 5.3 cents diesel, for total savings of 10.7 cents per liter of gas when combined with the cancellation of PCS of the liberal tax on carbon restrictions and trade S
  • Legislation for the ban on the use of congestion pricing on all provincial and municipal roads, upgrading previous legislation, which banned new fees on the provincial highways.
