Legislative discounts unusual in Florida in recent years

GOP senators said they were held in the dark

Republican senators said the legislative actions on Monday were maintained confidential.

The legislators had just over two hours to review the new 75 -page immigration bill, as the first meeting of the Legislation Commission began at 2 pm.

“The first impressions of what I see on Twitter (now called X) is that it is not as stable as what we have offered, which would be a little concerned,” Ingolia said.

Senator Randy Finn, a Republican in Melbourne, expected to leave the legislature to run for the congress, called the special stunt session and did not expect the cancellation of the veto. He is an antagonist of landing and an ally of Trump.

“There is a little surprise, a little satisfaction and a little excitement, I would say because it shows that we will activate and have the show,” he told the USA Today Network-Florida.

Following the announcement of the special session of Desantis, Fine has filed a bill that will block the undocumented students to attend public institutions for higher education in Florida. This legislation is now a provision in the new Immigration Bill (SB 2-B).
