Flood warnings, watches issued for parts of West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky – National Bureau

The heavy rains gave up in parts of the region, but flood warnings remain in part of the day.

Warning on the beach beach savings of the National Surveillance of the National Service until 10 am for parts of the Eastern Cana County, South Clay County and Central Nicholas County.

Kanaha County Commissioners Lance Willer told Eywitness News on Thursday morning that the county had 19 reports of water rescue by 8:30 am. The commission said it was activating its Metro 911 emergency operations due to Flash flood.

Meanwhile, a flood warning is in force until 2:15 pm for parts of the cable, Canaha, Lincoln, Mason, Putnam and Wayne in West Virginia and Boyd County in Kentucky.

Parts of Braxton, Clay, Nicholas and Roan Counts in West Virginia are under a flood warning until 1:45 pm, along with the cities of Carter, Greenup and Lawrence in Kentucky.

The flood flood remains in force until 13:00 for the bigger part of the region.

Meanwhile remains a Tornado clock for southeastern Kentucky cities by 11am

Several areas are under warning or watches on Thursday morning as the region is soaked in rain.

Flash Flood Warning was issued by the National Meteorological Service for the Eastern Cana County, South Clay County and Central Nicholas County until 10 am

The flash flood warning is also in force for South Boyd County, Kiev, Central Cable County and the northern parts of Lincoln and Wayne counts by 8:45 am.

Meanwhile, a flood warning is also in force in the same areas until 1:30 pm, as well as parts of the cities of Kalhun, Jackson, Maison, Putnam, Roan and Wirt in West Virginia. Also included are the Counts Galya, Lawrence and Maigs in Ohio and Greenup County, Kiev.

The rest of the region remains under a flooded clock on Thursday afternoon due to heavy rain to more than two inches in areas.

Elsewhere, a tornado warning was issued to the North Johnson County, Kentucky, by 8:15 am. The tornado clock was also issued by the National Meteorological Service until 11am for several County County, including at local levels of Magofin and Morgan districts.

The warnings and clocks come when the region woke up with heavy rain and lightning on Thursday morning. The rain is expected to slow down with the course of the morning, but in some areas the strong water may be maintained.

The heavy rain led to some standing water early on Thursday morning, leading to a trip with problems for those of Interstate 64 in Kanauha County, parts of Avenue Maccorkle and Enlow Park and the 16th Huntington Street.

Emergency staff have issued a shelter for the residents of the Park Park community, telling those who live there to prepare to look for a high place, if possible.

Elsewhere, the Kanawha-Charleston Human Association reports a flood near its facility early Thursday morning. Workers said on social media that the main kennels are safe, but the water is beginning to reach its overflow.

The flood also led to the closure of school and delays in several counties. Cabell, Clay, Lincoln, Mason, Putnam and Wayne closed all schools on Thursday. Some schools were closed in Logan County.
