Birmingham Airport in England has been evacuated as a precaution following a report of a suspicious vehicle, police said on Wednesday.
“West Midlands Police are currently dealing with an ongoing incident at the scene,” police told X. “Airport operations are currently affected and passengers should not come to the airport at this time.”
Birmingham Airport, about 100 miles north of London, told X separately that it had suspended operations.
