Firesfly Aerospace, based in US company from responsive space services, received a $ 8.2 million free assistance (USD) from the Texas Space Commission (TSC).
The grant comes from the Space Study and Aeronautics Study Fund (SEARF), a fund dedicated to the support of space flight technologies, the training of the workforce and the development of infrastructure.
The grant is administered by the Texas Space Commission (TSC), which controls the allocation of Searf resources to progress the growing aerospace sector of Texas.
Funding will improve the production of Firefly Aerospace spacecraft, supporting the production of Lunar Landers Blue Ghost and orbital vehicles Elytra
In this case, TSC approved funding to help Firefly to expand its capabilities for spacecraft in central Texas.
Finance will more consistently progress the production of Fireply Aerospace spacecraft, supporting the production of Blue Ghost Lunar Landers and Elytra orbital vehicles.
Funding will lead to key investments in infrastructure, workforce training and mission services from low Earth orbit to the moon.
