“One -hour schedule delay has been agreed to give athletes, employees and viewers an adequate time to prepare for the events of the day.”
Former Olympian Katarin Mary wrote to X: “He has not yet become the Utility Arena. It is fully evacuated due to a fire. A fiery brigade here and smoke coming from the top floor. “
She added a few minutes later: “The British indoor champions will move on after a fire in the kitchen. You have to clear the water right now. “
Catarina Johnson-Tompson and Laura Miir are among the star names that compete this weekend.
The event is also used as a British trials for the European Athletics Championships, which take place in the Netherlands next month.
