Fire damages West Oak Hills home Saturday – Victor Valley News – VVNG

OAK HILLS, CA (VVNG.com) — On Saturday afternoon, November 2, 2024, firefighters responded to a house fire in the 10100 block of Clover Drive, located on the west side of Oak Hills.

San Bernardino County Fire crews were dispatched around 1:52 p.m. to find heavy smoke and flames billowing from a two-story single-family residence.

Smoke could be seen from several miles away when firefighters arrived on the scene. Fortunately, residents were able to move several classic vehicles from the garage before the fire engulfed the area.

According to preliminary data, the fire started in the garage and spread to the ceiling. Large flames could be seen coming out of the vents and out of the roof.

An ambulance was dispatched to evaluate a male occupant for possible smoke inhalation; however, no transportation was required. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
