Boise, Idaho (CBS2) – The Boyz city says Boise Fire responded to a reported alarm for the 1800 block of West Fairview Avenue at 12:24 pm.
The crews received smoke reports on the 3rd floor of the Red Lion Hotel and started looking for the building. Firefighters found a small fire in a room that was extinguished by the sprinklers.
The crews confirmed that the fire was extinguished and was working to ventilate the building. One patient is evaluated by medics and released on the spot. There were no other injuries reported. The cause of the fire is in the process of investigation.
The fire damage of the building was minimal. The crews will tingle the scene.
Boise Fire responded with four fire trucks, two fire trucks, two battalion chiefs, a safety officer, department head and investigator.
