Findlay, Oh-one killed, one wounded in a three-vehicle crash at W Trenton Ave on the I-75 Ramp-Places

Findlay, OH (February 2, 2025) – A crash with many vehicles at an output ramp north of the I-75 at Findlay claims to be one person’s life and left another seriously wounded on Thursday night.

Findlay police responded to the scene shortly after 9:30 pm on Avenue West Trenton, where two vehicles were stopped in red light. According to officials, a vehicle coming out of the I-75 at a high speed of lost speed and struck the front of one of the stopped vehicles before colliding into the country of the driver of the second. The impact forced both to stop cars under a fuse.

The driver of the exceeded vehicle, identified as 40-year-old Kalid Abdulaziz Abuar of Lansing, Michigan, suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

It is tragic that 45-year-old Clarence Betel II of Fostoria, who was in the second hit vehicle, was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the first affected vehicle is evaluated by emergency response, but does not require hospitalization.

Authorities have confirmed that the crash remains in the process of investigating.
