A fight in North Las Vegas led to a shooting that injured one Tuesday night, police said.
According to Officer Roberto Vaquera of the North Las Vegas Police Department, an argument broke out between two people and shots were fired. Officers responded around 7:15 p.m. to the scene at the northwest corner of Craig Road and Lamb Boulevard, where they found one injured victim. The man was transported to University Medical Center and is in stable condition, police said in a statement.
The suspect is still at large, police said.
The shooting victim, an elderly man, is believed to be in his 20s, police said. He was found outside an apartment in the 4000 block of Adabella Avenue suffering from a gunshot wound.
“Patrol [is] looking for a shooting suspect,” Vaquera said in the email.
No further details were released, but police said the shooting was an isolated incident.
