On Saturday, Aliyah Boston took to Instagram to show off her stylish pre-game looks before her Vinyl BC team saw action at Unrivaled the day before. This prompted her WNBA teammate Lexi Hull to call her out for allegedly not following the same fashion standards prior to their Indiana Fever games.
After Hull’s playful bump, Boston began searching for a top-tier stylist, which led her to a series of photos posted by South Carolina star Bree Hall.
The 6-foot-3 pro couldn’t help but ask his former college teammate a fashion-related question in the comments section.
“Be my stylist?” Boston asked.
The photos show Hall wearing an all-black motif in her top, pants and bag. The word “GENUINE” is emblazoned on her pants, highlighting a key quality of the senior guard’s personality.
Shortly after Hall posted those photos, Hall put on his South Carolina jersey and went to work against the fifth-ranked LSU Tigers. Hall had five points, five rebounds, one steal and two blocks as No. 2 South Carolina won 66-56 on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Boston and her Vinyl BC teammates found themselves on the losing end of their own game over the weekend. In Vinyl’s 83-79 loss to Laces BC, Boston had four points, two rebounds and one block in just seven minutes of play.
Boston will have a chance at redemption on Monday when Vinyl (2-1) looks to end the Moon Owls’ (3-0) unbeaten streak.
Bree Hall sends love to Aaliyah Boston after Vinyl BC forward posts photos of her in unbeatable jersey
A little over a week ago, Brie Hall sent Aaliyah Boston positive vibes about clothing related images. On January 17, Boston posted a series of photos revealing her Vinyl BC jersey:
“Let’s have fun,” Boston wrote in her caption.
In the comments section, Hall said the following:
“in second place,” adding four heart-eyed emojis.
As Hall progresses in her basketball career, it will only be a matter of time before she and Boston cross paths again on the court – whether in the WNBA or Unrivaled.
