Boise, IDA. Gonzaga’s female tennis was defeated by 7-0 by Boise State in a double match on Sunday at Boas Indoor Tennis Center, the first loss of the spring season for the Bulldogs.
BSU claims that the double point as Rose Hayes/ /Leah Espinal and Norhan Hasham/ /Brooke Bitner They both released their matches 6-1. Emily Robertson/ /Safien Boulonois They were in battle, behind 4-5 when the point was stuck.
After Hayes and Hasham fell in singles, Robertson led his first set with 5-1, while Safarova Safarova from BSU did not go back to secure the couple with 7-6 (4), 6-0 win. The teams continued to play, with Boulonois and Bittner appearing short in two sets.
The final single of the singles was the most structure, as Ella Nielsen Won the first frame 6-3. After her opponent took the second set 7-5, Nielsen failed to prevail in a super tiebreaker, falling 11-9.
Forward: Bulldogs will travel again next weekend to New Mexico (January 31) and New Mexico (February 2), before returning to the center of Stevens to collide with the Air Force (February 8) and UW (February 9). Live and video statistics for all matches will be available on Gozags.com.
