FBI monitors compliance with federal voting rights laws in South Carolina – WIS News 10

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) – In an effort to keep voting safety a top priority, the U.S. Department of Justice says it will monitor South Carolina for compliance with federal voting rights laws.

FBI officials say they have put in place a 24-hour command post that will include agents, intelligence analysts, data analysts and other law enforcement partners to protect everyone who goes to vote.

Officials say they will use the posts to give them a better idea of ​​what election security looks like nationally.

They also recommend that if you feel any sense of intimidation or interference with your right to vote, you can report your concerns to 1-800-call-FBI.
