A medium dog found an angel -guardian who was not afraid to get wet at the right time.
Chris Makrichi was in the middle of Dunkin ‘Drive-Thru’s order in Vermont on January 10, when his son, also in the car, noticed a dog scattered in the nearby Winoski River, according to the Associated Press. At that moment, Makrichi knew he had a choice to do – whether to save the dog or not by freezing or not freezing water on the river.

A video captured by Makrichi’s son shows the choice he made. In the video, the father steps into the river, surrounded by snow, dressed only with a T -shirt, sweatshirts and boots. He panting as he immerses in frigid water, but continues to the puppy – which desperately rowing to a snowy icy drift. Macrochi then grabs the dog by the collar and lifts it from the water. The video ends with the fact that Macrochi exits the river while wearing the dog for safety.
“I felt that I was obliged to at least try to bring this dog from the river, since I myself have two dogs and I hope someone did it for them if they were in that place,” Makrichi told the Associated Press.
Although he entered the water with naked weapons, Makrichi added that his main care for the river is not cold temperatures.

“I didn’t know if it was 20 feet deep or a depth of 2 feet. When I pierced and got on my feet and it was like a waist, I was actually relieved by it,” Makrichi said. “In my mind, I thought at the moment,” Okay, it’s not so bad. Yes, it’s cold, but I feel it’s a very feasible situation. “
The identification label of the rescued dog pointed to Morgan Cerasoli as its owner. When Makrichi called Cerasoli to tell her that she had “pulled a drowned dog” from the Winoski River, she was defeated by emotion. The woman was looking for her dog Arizona from the day before the river was rescued.

“I started crying and told him [MacRitchie]”Oh my God, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you,” Serasoli told AP, adding that Arizona is recovering well from the ordeal.
“He is brave, he is selfless, he is praised,” she continued, talking about Makrichi’s efforts to save her dog. “That’s all I think we were on this land.”
