Congress members held a moment of silence to honor the two Virginia Beach officers who were killed in the execution of the duty.
Washington, Colombia County, USA – members of the Virginia of the House of Representatives held a moment of silence on Monday to honor two Virginia Beach police officers who were killed in the execution of the duty.
The Virginia Congress Delegation has given their respect to officers Cameron Girwin and Christopher Reese, who were shot dead and killed in the early hours of Saturday morning while stopping the movement.
The 31 -year -old Reese has served at the Virginia Beach Police Department and the office of Virginia Beach sheriff over the last six years. He leaves behind his wife.
“He will be remembered for his loyalty to his loved ones and his passion to serve the residents of our city,” says reporter Jen Kigigans, district 2.
The 25 -year -old Girin has served in the Virginia Beach Police Department since 2020. He leaves behind a wife and an unborn girl named Paisley.

“He will be remembered with his contagious smile and love for his family,” Kyigans said.
“These brave young men were taken too early and left behind a community, affected by grief and forever,” Kiigans said.
The delegation held a moment of silence in which every legislator attended his feet.
In the hours and days after the shooting, community members expressed shock and grief of the tragic loss of life. Many went to social media to share their reactions, including local politicians, public figures and other police departments.
In Virginia Beach, flowers, candles and black blade, they surround two police vehicles of a memorial, in honor of the ultimate victim of the two officers.
