EY Sign Paradise Birmingham Office Move – Daily Accounting

Big Four has signed the heads of an agreement to move to the new Birmingham office next year as part of its current investment in the city and the wider region of Midlands.

The office stroke is scheduled for 2026 to coincide with the end of the current EY leasing contract on one Colmore Square, where it has been based in the last 20 years.

EY works more than 1,200 people in Birmingham, including 55 partners. As part of his regional impetus to attract graduates outside the capital, last year, more than 50 graduates, leaving schools and interns were hired by Birmingham through students to recruit.

The new office is located first in Three Chamberlain Square, which is part of Paradise Birmingham Development. EY has taken three floors on Trim Chamberlain Square, a 10-storey, an 189,000-foot office building from the street station and the snowy hill, as well as large buses, metro and hiking. The wider Paradise Estate also has a bicycle hub and a specialized tram stop in the neighborhood of three chamberlain square.

The EY office space is located on the first three floors of the building, occupying 70,000 square feet, with the potential to expand further to support future growth.

Simon O’Neal, managing partner in EY in Midlands, said: “With a growing business of over 1200 people and partners based in Birmingham and strong search levels by our customers, the investment in a new office reflects our commitment to maintain a prominent and lasting presence in the region.

“The new office will provide a high specification, a work environment for our teams, in a low carbon building with great transport connections. We look forward to welcoming our people and clients to our new premises when we move next year. “

The new building, which is to end in the summer of 2025, has already achieved an exceptional rating of BREEAM and NABers 5 of the accreditation at the design stage in recognition of its environmental identification data, which will further support EY sustainability goals.

Ross Fital, Director of Commercial Development at Paradise Asset and Development Manager Mepc, said: “We warmly welcome EY and his Midlands team at Three Chamberlain Square. As the first commercial rental for this remarkable new building, the EY move is another vote of trust in paradise and look forward to seeing 1200 more employees on the spot and enjoying the whole mansion it has to offer.

“The low carbon design of the building makes it a sustainable commercial destination in Midlands. He emphasizes our commitment to a net zero future and helped to create a standard for the rest of Paradise. This is supported by occupiers such as EY, who are guided by their own principles about sustainability and commitment to creating a better, net zero world. “
