Western week of Scottsdale is underway and a unique local culinary experience has launched this year’s celebrations to honor the roots of the city in the heart of the Old Town over the weekend.
From manual pouring to frying round balls dough, several dozen people practice frying in an outdoor cooking class on Saturday. The Frybread Salon hosted the event on the spot overlooking Arizona in the center of Scottsdale.
Celeste Deshene is also a Dine with the first local restaurant in the Old Town of Scottsdale. She taught the sold, hour course And she shared her beloved part to train the public about their food customs.
“To make people perceive another culture and really take it and see what it is like to do something that is, you know, straight from scratch,” she added. “Frybread is always good at any time of the day, but you really have to have it moderate.”
