By james art Winston-Salem police closed all lanes of southbound Salem Parkway near Cloverdale Avenue Friday afternoon due to a traffic accident, authorities said.
Traffic is being diverted to alternative routes, police said. Police later reopened the lanes, but traffic remained heavy during the afternoon commute.
