Local black artists, creative minds, small businesses and intelligentsia will come closer to several places this month for laughter or tears of rage for deep contemplation for modern machines.

Richardson, entrepreneur and commerce, host shows all year round throughout IE and said he was excited to expand his information this month by bringing together small business to show their products.

On Saturday, February 15, Black Love Festival includes suppliers and entertainment, DJ, and works from 11:00 to 7:00 pm on 7399 Victoria Avenue, Highland.

This will help the smaller business owners of online products and other goods to make the sale.

“Many IE people have a business, but they don’t know how to start or have no showcase,” says Richardson, an entrepreneur and business owner who organizes the Black Love Festival in Highland.

“I do this for anyone who has an online or catering business or as a pop -up market. We will have gifts and just good vibrations. This is a market that people can come to and enjoy and share their product with the locals [community]he said.

The Ontario Museum will host its interactive showcase from noon to 3:00 pm with the participation of various assets, including the artist and spotlights of local talents.

On February 8, the collective event of “Saturday” History and the Arts: The collective event of the month of black history will mix the booths of suppliers, pop -up windows, art workshops, led by artists and meaningful conversations about how art reflects life.

Carlos Guerrero, assistant curator of education in the museum, said the holiday is a great way to connect to the art, artists and culture that helped to shape the black experience.

On Saturday, February 8, the museum welcomed the entire community for practical activities, creative seminars and discussions with local artists. This event, from noon to 3:00 pm, is held at 225 S. Euclid Avenue, Ontario.

“The whole museum will be activated, this is the first time we have an event celebrating the month of black history on this scale,” he said. “We will have approximately eight cabins of artists, and art shops will have four prominent artists in the area.”

But the culture will not stop at the end of the month. They expect to continue to connect with black programming artists, which extends far after February. Last month, the museum also celebrated the lunar year, removing many people from different environments.

At the State University of Cal, San Bernardino, the campus broke out several of its events in the month of black history at the Panofrian Center for Student Success.

On February 13, the “store” offers free shaving, knitting and haircut services for students, with a place to rest and refresh from 11:00 to 16:00 after the event, opportunities for a network for black faculty, staff and members of the Student Association They move from noon to 2:00 pm. Also organized by BFSSA, the mixer of the month of black history begins at 7:30 pm in the men’s basketball with fun and games for everyone.

The festivities continue on February 20 with the Black Student Union, hosting their family feud event, which takes place from noon to 1:30 pm, with a breakthrough of culture and art from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The campus ends the events with Pioneer breakfast from 9:00 am – 11:00 am on SMSU North, 2nd floor.
