Erving Police Search for a missing 12-year-old girl-the Dallas Morning News

The Irving authorities are looking for a missing 12-year-old girl.

Police claim that Alison Ramirez-Lopez has left on foot around 10pm for a birthday, but she has never appeared. It was last seen in the 1000 block on Harlan Street.

Alison is reported to have disappeared about 13 hours later, at 11pm Sunday. Police announced in a news message that they believe it may be in alabama or surrounding condition.

It does not meet the criteria for a signal to amber or Athens, but police said it was contacting authorities in nearby countries to spread the news.

A signal from Athens, called in honor of 7-year-old Athens Strand, creates a regional signal for missing children who do not meet the amber signal criteria, which requires the right to believe that a child is abducted.

The National Center for extinct and threatened also shared the news on social media.

“We are encouraging parents to talk to children who may be friends with Alison to see if there is information they can share, which can help find Alison,” police said.
